Stamped Concrete
Ideal for decorative stamped concrete surfaces including driveways, patios, walkways, and pool decks. Impressio Color Hardener embeds rich pigment into the slab, ensuring stamped patterns remain vibrant and wear-resistant for decades.
Industrial Flooring
Purpose-built for heavy-duty industrial flooring in factories, warehouses, logistics hubs, and large commercial spaces. Impressia Floor Hardener surface-hardened concrete withstands forklift traffic, point loads, and abrasion far beyond standard floor finishes.
Dry Shake Hardener
A surface-applied dry shake hardener broadcast directly onto fresh concrete at the time of placement. This method achieves maximum surface strength and density without compromising the slab structure β the preferred technique for high-performance floors. Available as both Impressio Color Hardener (decorative) and Impressia Floor Hardener (industrial).
AR Grade Hardener
Abrasion Resistant (AR) Grade Hardener is specially formulated to withstand heavy mechanical wear, forklift traffic, and abrasive loads. Ideal for warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, and any industrial floor where surface erosion and wear resistance are the primary concern.
Color Hardener
Impressio Color Hardener is a pigmented dry shake that delivers vibrant, long-lasting decorative concrete finishes. The mineral pigments are worked deep into the surface matrix, producing rich, uniform color that never peels, chips, or fades β suitable for both interior and exterior decorative applications.
Concrete Overlay & Resurfacing
Used for resurfacing worn, cracked, or ageing concrete floors. Color hardener applied over bonded overlays restores both strength and appearance β making it ideal for renovation projects where replacing the slab is not practical.
Application Process
Impressia Floor Hardener β Installation Process
Two distinct installation systems β one for decorative stamped and colour concrete, one for heavy-duty industrial and commercial floors. Both executed by R Tech Concrete Solutions.
Stamped Concrete & Colour Concrete
Impressio Color Hardener β Decorative Application Process
Minimum M25 grade RMC with 125mm on-site slump. w/c ratio not to exceed 0.45. Concrete poured by pump or directly within formwork.
Initial levelling and screeding. Surface must be level and free from bleed water before hardener application commences.
Apply approximately 2/3 of the total specified dosage of Impressio Color Hardener in the first pass. Broadcast evenly across the fresh concrete surface by hand or mechanical spreader.
Immediately following absorption of the first pass, apply bull float to embed Impressio Color Hardener into the concrete and consolidate the hardener layer uniformly.
Immediately following second floating, apply remaining 1/3 of Impressio Color Hardener at specified rate. If by hand, broadcast in the opposite direction to the first application for maximum uniform colour coverage. If using a mechanical spreader, overlap passes by 50%.
Once desired colour is achieved uniformly across the slab, finish with steel trowel to a smooth, dense, closed surface ready for pattern imprinting.
Impressio Release Powder applied evenly over the trowelled surface prior to stamping to prevent stamp adhesion and add contrast colour depth to the final pattern.
Approved stamped concrete moulds pressed firmly and uniformly into the Release Powder-coated surface as per approved pattern layout. Moulds aligned with consistent joint depth and texture. Pattern verified by R Tech team before surface begins to set.
After stamping, allow concrete to cure for minimum 24 hours. During initial set, cut control/expansion joints at designated locations as per structural drawings. Once surface has achieved initial hardness, carefully clean off excess Impressio Release release powder residue using a stiff brush and water wash before final curing compound application.
After full curing period, clean the stamped concrete surface thoroughly using Impressio Floor Cleaner to remove all residual release powder, efflorescence and surface contaminants. Once surface is clean and dry, apply Impressio Shield Premium Sealer evenly across the entire surface. Available in Gloss, Satin and Natural finish. Impressio Shield provides UV & weather resistance, protects from water, oil and stains, enhances colour and appearance, and extends the service life of the decorative concrete floor.

Warehouses / Factories / Commercial Floors
Industrial & Commercial Process
Minimum M25 grade RMC with 125mm on-site slump. Concrete poured by pump or directly within formwork as per floor layout and bay sequence.
Initial screeding and levelling is client scope. Surface must be free from bleed water and at correct flatness tolerance before hardener application.
R Tech team broadcasts Impressio Floor Hardener at industrial grade dosage (5–8 kg/m²) in two passes for maximum surface density and abrasion resistance.
A specially formulated finishing chemical applied using a 4-point spray system during the broadcast of hardener, ensuring even distribution, enhanced surface densification, and superior color lock-in.
Bull float after first pass. Power trowel finish applied for a dense, dust-free, hard-wearing industrial floor surface.
Curing compound or wet curing applied immediately after trowelling to achieve full compressive strength of ≥ 40 N/mm² at 28 days.
Concrete Polishing Process — R Cure Formula / R Cure Ultra Li
For superior durability and mirror-like finish, the hardened surface undergoes professional diamond polishing with integrated densification using R Cure Formula or R Cure Ultra Li lithium densifier.
Apply R Cure Formula or R Cure Ultra Li as a curing and sealing compound immediately after finishing. This densifies the surface and prepares it for polishing.
Allow minimum 24–48 hours before starting the polishing process. Ensures the densifier has fully penetrated and hardened the surface.
Begin with 30–50 grit to open the surface and expose the hardened substrate. Removes any residual sealing compounds and reveals the full depth of color.
Progress sequentially through diamond grits: 100 → 200 → 400 → 800 → 1500 → 3000. Each pass refines the surface and increases gloss and clarity of the finish.
Apply R Cure Ultra Li lithium densifier between polish stages (after 400 grit and 1500 grit) for maximum surface hardness, enhanced gloss, and superior durability against wear.
Complete the polishing sequence with an ultra-fine polishing pad to achieve a mirror-like, crystal-clear finish with maximum reflectivity and visual depth.
Apply a protective sealer or guard coat to protect the polished surface from stains, moisture, and UV damage while enhancing sheen retention and long-term durability.
