Transform dull, worn concrete into high-gloss, durable floors that last a lifetime. Trusted by warehouses, retail stores, showrooms and industrial facilities.
How It Works
What Is Concrete Polishing?
Concrete polishing is a mechanical process that uses progressively finer diamond grinding tools to refine a bare concrete slab into a smooth, high-gloss surface. We work through multiple grit stages — from coarse diamond grinding that flattens and opens the surface, to ultra-fine polishing that produces a reflective, glass-like finish.
Between grinding stages we apply a chemical concrete densifier that penetrates and reacts with the slab, permanently hardening the surface from within. The result is a dust-free, abrasion-resistant floor that needs no coatings, paints or wax — the shine comes from the densified concrete itself, not a topical layer that can peel, flake or wear away.
This is why polished concrete floors are the most cost-effective, long-lasting flooring solution for commercial and industrial spaces. With no coatings to replace and minimal maintenance, industrial concrete polishing delivers decades of performance from the slab you already have — a smarter investment than tiles, epoxy or vinyl.

Why Choose Polished Concrete Floors?
The performance advantages that make polished concrete the smart choice.
01
Extremely Durable
A densified surface resists scratches, impacts and heavy loads for decades.
02
Low Maintenance
No stripping, waxing or resealing — just simple routine cleaning.
03
Improved Light Reflectivity
A glossy surface bounces light, saving up to 30% on lighting costs.
04
Ideal for Heavy Traffic
Withstands forklifts, foot traffic and machinery without wearing down.
05
Eco-Friendly
Uses your existing slab — no new materials, coatings or VOCs.
06
Cost-Effective Long Term
Low lifetime cost with no replacements, coatings or major upkeep.
07
Dust-Free & Hygienic
Sealed pores stop concrete dusting — cleaner air and easier cleaning.
08
Slip-Resistant Options
Anti-slip treatments available for wet areas and safety compliance.
INDUSTRIES SERVED
Who Uses Polished Concrete Floors?
Polished concrete is the floor of choice across India’s most demanding commercial and industrial environments. Our concrete polishing contractors work across:
01
Warehouses & Distribution Centres
High-traffic forklift environments demand a floor that won’t dust, chip or require costly downtime for resealing. Polished concrete delivers.
02
Retail Showrooms
A high-gloss reflective floor elevates your brand, improves lighting efficiency and impresses customers from the moment they walk in.
03
Manufacturing Facilities
Chemical resistance, dust suppression and durability under heavy machinery make polished concrete the go-to for factory floors.
04
Automotive Dealerships
The mirror-like finish showcases vehicles beautifully while standing up to oil, tyre rubber and foot traffic.
05
Cold Storage & Food Processing
Easy-clean, hygienic and non-porous — polished concrete meets food-safe requirements without coatings that can delaminate.
06
Hospitals & Aged Care
Low VOC, dust-free and simple to sanitise, polished concrete supports strict hygiene standards in healthcare environments.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions — Polished Concrete
Common questions from warehouse managers, facility owners and project managers across Australia.
How long does concrete polishing take?
Polished concrete is the floor of choice across India’s most demanding commercial and industrial environments. Our concrete polishing contractors deliver:
Can you polish an existing concrete slab?
Yes — in most cases. We assess the slab condition first. Slabs with significant cracking, contamination or insufficient hardness may need remediation work prior to polishing. Most commercial slabs are suitable candidates.
What gloss level can I choose?
We offer matte (400 grit), satin (800 grit) and high-gloss (1500–3000 grit) finishes. High-gloss is most popular for showrooms and retail; satin suits warehouses and factories where glare is a concern.
Is polished concrete slippery?
A well-polished floor has a similar slip resistance to a standard broom-finished concrete floor when dry. We offer anti-slip additives and surface treatments for wet areas or where safety compliance requires a higher slip-resistance rating.
How do I maintain a polished concrete floor?
Daily dust mopping and periodic wet mopping with a neutral pH cleaner is all that’s required. There is no stripping, waxing or resealing. Most clients find maintenance costs drop significantly compared to their previous floor finish.
What is the cost of concrete polishing in Australia?
Pricing depends on floor size, current condition, the grit level specified and any remediation required. As a guide, commercial concrete polishing in India typically ranges from ₹150–₹400 per sq ft INR depending on area size, condition and finish level. Contact us for a site-specific quote.

Our 7-Step Concrete Polishing Process
01
Surface Inspection & Preparation
We assess the slab condition, check for cracks, joint work, contamination and moisture. Any repairs, crack filling or surface grinding to remove high spots are completed before polishing begins.
02
Coarse Diamond Grinding (Metal Bond)
We start with coarse 16–30 grit metal-bond diamond tooling to flatten the surface, remove old coatings, adhesive residue and surface laitance, and open the concrete pores for densifier penetration.
03
Medium Diamond Grinding (Metal to Transitional Bond)
Progressing through 50 and 100 grit tooling, we refine the grind marks left by the coarse pass, further levelling the surface and beginning to develop clarity in the concrete.
04
Chemical Densifier Application
A lithium silicate densifier is applied and worked into the open pores. It reacts with the calcium hydroxide in the concrete to form calcium silicate hydrate — permanently hardening and dust-proofing the slab from within.
05
Resin Bond Diamond Polishing
We transition to resin-bond diamond pads at 200, 400 and 800 grit. The surface begins to take on sheen and reflectivity as the scratch pattern is progressively refined at each stage.
06
High-Gloss Polishing (1500–3000 Grit)
Fine resin-bond pads at 1500 and 3000 grit bring the floor to a high-gloss, mirror-like finish. The reflectivity and clarity achieved at this stage is the hallmark of a professionally polished concrete floor.
07
Guard & Sealer Application
A penetrating concrete guard or stain protector is applied as the final step, providing resistance to oils, chemicals and staining agents — keeping the floor looking flawless with minimal maintenance.
